We reopen this year (2024) with a short exhibition by one of our founders - Dave Pentin - to celebrate our fourth year selling local contemporary arts and crafts.Feeling lucky to survive not only COVID but the current economic recession we've decided to mark our anniversary with a celebration on the 28th of February to honour all our past and future artists and suppliers by raising a glass or two of the bubbly stuff.Our year ahead boasts a wide range of local artists exhibitions with primarily new artists work gracing the walls of the gallery. This Christmas we are bringing some colour and joy to the gallery with a delicious selection of vibrant work from the renowned abstract artist Ashley Hanson and fiesta-themed crockery supplied by our stockists snowbunting.  Ashley's work is vivid and exciting. His abstract paintings use colour to create contrast, tension and arouse emotion. Inspired by his painting course in the beautiful Old Lifeboat House studio in Porthleven, Ashley's work typically starts with a drawing session before the sketches were abstracted and worked up with collage and colour into templates for his paintings.
